At the Steil'ART Festival in the Waldhaus Flims (14-16 July), art, culture and culinary delights could be experienced: 16 internationally awarded chefs prepared delicacies at star level and provided taste explosions.
At the same time, visitors could stroll through a diverse art exhibition, where Tanja La Croix also presented her works to the public for the first time.
"I chose this festival to show my paintings for the first time because art, culinary and music come together and form a unity. That is what makes this festival so unique. Any kind of art is an inspiration to me and makes my life worth living.
Painting. More concrete: Abstract painting as an expression of her soul, her creative, wild soul. Her "craziness". Because when Tanja lets her worlds of colour emerge, space and time lose their meaning. Then only the momentary outburst of emotion counts, which she brings onto the canvas unfiltered, layer by layer, with colorful acrylic paints. And when she lapses into this expressionism, the surface must be large - as large as her inner drive and the urge to transform this drive into creativity. This depth, authenticity and intensity is also reflected in her works.
"I have been painting for 30 years and have put a lot of work and passion into my works. That's exactly how much dedication Niklas Oberhofer, Tristan Brandt and the team from Waldhaus Flims have shown and put this great event together!
Tanja La Croix not only showed her art, but also performed and as well captivated the guests energetically and musically.
